Sprint and Book-in-Hand pricing
The published rates
3-Day Book Draft Sprint — three cohort rates: $197 (founding), $297 (standard), $497 (full). Each rate has its own live checkout, so what a cohort page promises is exactly what a buyer is charged.
Book-in-Hand Accelerator (60 days) — $1,997 paid in full, or 2 × $1,097 a month apart, which then stops automatically. Includes 25 author launch copies. Studio continuation afterwards is $197/month and is opt-in — nobody is charged automatically.
Anyone who bought at an older price keeps the terms they bought on. Old purchases are never re-read under the new rates.
Setting the price for a cohort
Price and places are set per cohort in the Event Centre, under "Price and places for this cohort":
- Choose one of the published rates, set the number of places, and save.
- Click Connect payments to bind that cohort to the matching live checkout.
- Once payments are connected, the rate is fixed for that cohort; places can still be changed at any time, but never below the number already enrolled.
- Before a cohort opens and while nobody has enrolled, the price can be released and a different rate chosen.
A cohort priced at something other than a published rate has no checkout to connect to, and the panel says so rather than letting it open for sale.
Book-in-Hand upgrades
The upgrade checkout for a Book-in-Hand cohort binds itself to the current live price for the plan the participant chose, so a new cohort does not need any payment setup by hand. The charge is verified against the published terms before checkout opens.
