Pathways exist because the Studio has 30+ tools and most people don't know what to run when. Instead of picking tools yourself, you pick a destination — a book in your hands, a cohort filled, a podcast launched, a funnel converting — and the Pathway walks you through the exact tool order, with each step's output flowing into the next.
A Pathway has three properties that make it different from a generic checklist:
- Output-gated steps. Step 3 unlocks when step 2's output is real, not when you click "next." This forces depth over speed.
- Live progress. The Studio knows which steps you've completed because the underlying tools have actually run — there's no manual "mark as done" lying to you.
- Single-active enforcement. You can only have one Pathway active per project at a time. This is deliberate.
